VANTUBERS
YouTuber Workshops
For Grades 2-7 (ages 7-12)

Here is a video from last session.  All shot and starring Vantubers Kids

Our Mission:
To empower young minds with the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need to express their creativity.  By telling their unique stories and sharing a positive message with their friends and family.

Kids are more inspired than ever to launch into filmmaking thanks to being exposed to young content on YouTube.  It's never been easier and more accessable to make videos, but sometimes it's challenging to know where to start.

Every child possesses the potential to become a young filmmaker, and our camp is designed to provide the guidance and inspiration necessary to unlock that potential so they can start filmmaking with their friends.

In our day filmmaking was inspired by big theatrical movies, kids now are motivated by seeing other kids make accessible Youtube content.

What they learn:

Intro to Acting / Presenting for Camera:  Your child will learn the art of acting and express their creativity in front of the camera.

Behind the lens: How to use a camera from the basics to advanced techniques.  The Kids will understand  the magic of choosing the right camera angles and shots that make scenes unforgettable.

Collaborative Storytelling: Through collaborative projects, children will develop project ideas that they will shoot, and  skills that will serve them well beyond the camp.

How to turn stories into films: Learning the process of shooting films from ideas they've generated and working as a team to make sure the kids have an awesome film to show their friends and famililes at the end of the day camp.

New to Good Friday Camp:

Green Screen 101: Due to demand of the kids from last camp, this next camp we will be teaching an intro into working with a green screen.

Intro into making gaming videos: Very basic intro into how to make gaming videos.

What to bring:

Lunch & Snacks:  Some healthy snacks served, but please bring a lunch.

Clothes they can move around in: Running shoes, a chance of clothes, something warm.

A good attitude: Filmmaking takes collaboration and team work.

Optional items to bring:
